Description
The adjustable air atomizing nozzle produces mist by mixing compressed air with liquid inside the nozzle body. Depending on the air cap and liquid cap fitted, the same body can spray a round (solid-cone) or flat (fan) pattern, in either an adjustable or fixed version.
On the adjustable models shown here, liquid flow can be changed without touching the air or liquid line pressure, so the spray can move between a fine mist and a coarser jet without re-plumbing the setup.
This flexibility matters most on lines that switch between products, viscosities or duty cycles during a shift, since operators can dial in coverage on the spot instead of shutting down to swap the nozzle body.
